September turned out to be a GREAT month for new products. I discovered some new things that I plan to never be without, like some new skincare, pjs, and scents, and also re-discovered a few old favorites. I'm just so excited about these things, I wanted to share!
Here's what I've been loving this month:
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Camelia // This beaut has snuck its way back into my daily makeup routine. I bought it this summer when I saw Sandra's post about it, and just fell in love with how bright it was in the pan, but how it also looked so natural and healthy on her skin. In her blog post she really layered it up so you can see the pigmentation, but I like wearing just a wash of it on my cheeks. Tigerlilly is also a gorgeous color- especially on pale skin - but these blushes really could work on any skin tone. They're so luminous that they really brighten up the face no matter how much you apply.
Gin Wax Candle // I found this candle at TJ Maxx earlier this month during a standard weekly peruse, and regret not purchasing more than one. I can't find the maker online, but did find this eBay seller with a few. I got it for $7.99 which is ridiculous, but what's even better than the price is the packaging. The frosted glass, the octagonal shape, the wooden lid, the wooden wick, and the label design all make this candle feel so luxe. And the smell! It's light and fresh, but not floral, and a bit masculine. Basically it's the perfect most amazing candle ever and if you see one in TJ Maxx DON'T SKIP OVER IT.
The Glossier Supers // I think I'll do a post all about these guys, but these serums quickly became some of my all time favorite Glossier products. I bought them as a triple set, but you can buy them individually as well. They've got every morning skincare woe covered- dehydration (Super Bounce), breakouts (Super Pure), and dullness (Super Glow). I would say Super Pure is my favorite of the bunch- I saw a noticeable difference when I started using this one, and my skin has never been clearer. I think that can be because of this serum combined with my next favorite. I'll write up a full post soon on my thoughts on all 3, but you can't go wrong with these.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Cleansing Oil // I've mentioned my love of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate before, but this month Kiehl's came out with a cleansing oil version which I immediately picked up. I had just run out of the face oil, and thought it was a sign that this launched at the very same moment. It didn't disappoint either. When I use this (or the face oil) I see a difference OVERNIGHT. It's got loads of healthy ingredients like plant-derived squalane, evening primrose oil, and lavender essential oil. Mark this as another super-effective & super loved Kiehl's product for me.
Dior 2-in-1 Prime & Color Correcting Stick in green // Every time I went in Sephora this summer I swatched this. I've been intrigued by color correcting for some time, and even though it's not a new technique, for some reason, this particular product stuck out to me. (Let's be honest, it was the packaging.) I finally caved this month and bought it, and I have to say, I love it so much, I now have started to color correct on a daily basis. This little stick is uber moisturizing and smoothing thanks to the powder core, and is perfect for the redness on my chin and around my mouth. I swipe it around and pat it in with my fingers before putting on my foundation.
R+Co JackPot Styling Creme // This product comes from one of my all time favorite hair care lines, R+Co. They're an Australian line, sister brand to Oribe, and all vegan. My hairdresser recommended them to me a year ago, and I've tried almost everything they do. I randomly started using this creme more regularly this month and forgot how much I loved it! I use just a bit on towel dried hair, and it acts as a nice lotion for when I want to dry or use heat on my hair. Plus, it smells amazing!
Cactus Print Pajama Set // These pajamas are life. I've been eyeing them on ASOS all summer, suffering through the sellouts and restocks, and finally bought a pair. They're extremely lightweight, so they were perfect for the extremely hot weather we ended up having this month. I've washed and dried them several times now, and they stay so soft each time.
